Im looking at getting myself some trade plates but a friend of mine has said they aint worth the trouble

I'm a little confused really has anyone had any bad problems with them or know of any reasons why i shouldn't get a set
I'm looking at about £160 for 12 months for a set of plates

Ive never felt the need for them any car i pick up im coverd on and take me trade policy incase the gaffers pull you ... and if you have the car for a certain period of time you have to register it on your policy ...

We have several sets at my company from moving mowers to tractors, combines etc but then we are a big business and I'm an employee?

not worth the agg unless your a car dealer tbh, handy for driving cars around with no tax on though
