Sandwich plates 997AADA5-6C89-4F9E-AD2A-98C99DB3EC71_zpsuivgzyr3

Right then, I have my mocal oil cooler, and just received the spa gauges, I didn't realise the spa gauge comes with a sandwich plate with the oil temp/oil pressure sensors in it. My question is can you use two sandwich plates at one time? I don't have the car atm to look at it all. I'm not sure if they will fit if you see what I mean, if not what can I do? Cheers for any help

Or do I remove the sensors from the sandwich plate and put them elsewhere?

remove them & mount in suitable good points, pressure quite easy but temp really need nose of sensor in flow of oil or reading will be off . spa gauges don't come with sandwich plates, previous install had used one & bundled it together .

Ahhh I see, I didn't want to use two plates at all, that's why I asked, thought it seemed a little rough! So where would be a good place to put the temp sensor?

Some good pointers in this thread >

but not the sump plug adaptors as read low & potential engine killer .
