After a tip from someone I found out that the guy who does all the car allignment jobs for me, had an Audi UrQauttro stashed away somewhere.
We got talking about the car and I said to him that if he ever wanted to sell it, he should give me a call.
Haven't heard him talk about the car for about half a year and then he asked if I was still interested since he was clearing his garage where the car was parked.
I said yes, we agreed on a price and I got the car over to my shop.
Here are some pictures:
The car hasn't seen the road in 13 years and the engine was in pieces in boxes.
After a bit of washing and quick polish it suddenly transformed in a not so bad car.
The engine is starting to look like an engine again.
The crank+bearings etc. also looked exceptionally good (like the head and camsshaft) seeing that it all has been in pieces for the last 13 years...
Looks like the complete engine has been rebuilt shortly before the car was taken of the road.
