just tried lifting my gtr up on scissor lift to check brakes
the thing just aint having it, it creaks and groans and wont lift the car yet lifts a pulsar easily
that sure is one heavy car lol

yes as above, in theory that scissor lift should lift 2.5 tonne : / think il have to have a look at it

I just wanted to check the front pads as they were squealing loudly after I used it on track the other week
loads of life left in the ebc yellows but they are absolutely fooked.
the ceramic pad has huge cracks running through it so not good news as the pads are mahoosive with the brembo 6 pots
im gonna order myself a set of them carbotech jobbies as evidentally there £165 no matter what pad size so they will work out cheaper than ebc's probably, plus waste of time using those again as there not man enough

Sure they wiegh 4 ton my boss has a hummer h1  that wieghs 4ton aswell .

il have you know ive lost weight and am now an anorexic 18st from 19 1/2st, turn sideways and im invisible lol

I had to jack the car up and you can feel the weight of it just by jacking it, its one heavy mofo

save your money on pads at that weight weigh the car in i know a good scrapyard believe or not just outside newcastle.
I had to jack the car up.  bet he told lee to do it lads 1 push on jack and  shouting lee feel the weight of this car here have a go jack it a few times see what it feels like george here felt the weight of this car have a go jack it a few times tell me what you think Very Happy

nah hes talking about getting a cupra r and I said go for it as there bloody quick good little cars that he could do a few trackdays in then drive it home to do his shopping with less fear of major carnage lol

hes pulsar days are finished I think johnny, you gotta be a special breed to own a pulsar or just fookin insane Laughing

just been on the phone to carbotech today to get a price on the pads for a gtr, anyway went for the zp10s

i priced a set of xp8s for to fit my spare brake kit which i am using hispec billet 4 pads £150 +vat+delivery

also priced a set of same pads to fit standard rear calipers  i need to send a set of old pads to use backing plates or like he says buy new cheap set of pads just for to use backing plates. Give him his due he said i could get them cheap try e bay send him them or his supplyer was £25 which he said is not cheap just to take the material off and keep metal backing plates for him to add his. price 126 +vat + delivery

yes there cracked right the way through Leighton and ivegot my advanced track driving day on 13th july so don't wanna have to be worrying about the brakes failing

they are expensive johnny but guess you get what you pay for with stuff like this cheap aint always good, I would soon be whining if I wrapped the car through shoddy brakes lol

true my car is in the process of best tyres brakes and suspension its had ever. very expensive but hopefully the difference of keeping it on the black stuff  then four wheel aligned i wish i had more money the track is screaming for me but i will have to stick to my b roads and racing kit cars and bikes just can not afford the expense
