hello there, so this is where everyone has gone.Well the site looks good and i like the idea of motorsport club, sounds more grown up.Anyway nice to see that there is still a strong following for the gtir as i cant think of a better car to thrash around the countryside in.

here is my little scruffer.Dont know the full engine spec as it was rebuilt 2004/5 at kent performance now sabre performance i think?
standard turbo and injecters
sard anaylse ecu
kyb sr specials
profec b spec 2
br (black racing) wheels 14 inch made in japan in the mid nineties
its not powerful, maybe 270bhp but great fun on the country roads

Nice looking r ..... hagger ..... you reckon only 270bhp what boost is it running then ?

I only run 1 bar ,well 0.97 just to be safe as i think its the original turbo.Have to be careful and watch the revs though as i think the sard ecu raises the rev limit to 8250rpm.Dont think i want to visit those numbers... ouch

Running 1bar of boost with other mods would be nearer to 300 i would of thought tbh .

Welcome, that looks like a clean car there. Any plans for it?

hey there not sure if i want to do a huge amount to the car as its been a great laugh to own over last few years.I think a gentle turbo upgrade maybe to give it a bit of a kick but i think thats it.I would like an output of about 320/330bhp but thats plenty for me.I think i will leave the car standard inside as there are so many getting stripped and caged. The engines internals are unknown as the previous owner new very little about the car sadly and even though he owned it for 11 years dident ask kent performance what went inside when they rebuilt it.
