just a thought, the bushes on the lower arm, can these be replaced with poly bushes, if so is it worth getting a 2nd hand arm and then replace the bushes and ball joint, obviously if the arm can be sourced cheap enough

Balljoints are around £12 to £21 pending on manufacturer & your status at your chosen motor-factors. Wouldn't go for any of the cheaper options as quality is awful ...

115+ vat is quite expensive  if you cost out replacement bushes and a balljoint it would be half that .

Yeah but I couldn't be bothered to source ball joints and the rubber on the end, then spend time replacing the parts. Not sure if the rubber in the front of the arm can be sourced? Admittedly my front rubbers weren't that bad though, might keep the old ones, if these BluePrint ones aren't all that ill repair the old ones and refit them.

This is the wishbone:
http://www.camskill.co.uk/m30b0s2940p40904/BLUEPRINT_ADN_PART_NUMBERS_-_LOWER_SUSPENSION_ARM_-_ADN18669_

There is a metal tube incased in the rubber on the front of the lower arm where a bolt goes through, this is what I was referring to that wasn't worn and the other rubber is the one that can be polybushed.

Playing safe is boring spolis the effect. Maybe a write up may help this thread with pictures as i know these bushes are tight to fit and sometimes require lube not always supplied with the cheaper ones

We will have to find someone that's done/going to do them.
My passenger side rubber; the one at the back, fell to bits upon removal and some of it was stuck to the metal cap that holds it in place!
