Well as some of you're aware I'm a bit of a fat bastard weighing at 30 stone last year so I've been on a bit of an exercise marathon over the last year and have lost 8 stone so far, Stu your just a lightweight matey.

I do 3 hours at the gym most days unless I'm just to sore from the day before then I'll have a rest, Normally do 2 hours in the gym then 1 hour of swimming about 80 lengths of a 25m pool, If I skip the gym I'll normally still do the swim, But it's amazing how quickly you can get fit I'm up to over 600 sit ups everyday now and I've at least trebled the weight on my free weights now, I'm still 22 stone I seem to be stuck but if I stick with it the fat has to go but it's a long hard battle especially when I'm turning 50 in September, Fuck me where did all those years go ?.

I've just weighed myself and after another strict run of dieting and gym I haven't lost anything :-( I've put on a pound ffs
I'm hoping its ive lost the fat and gained the muscle!

Just measured my belly and it's 49" round.
I'm gonna measure myself in inches rather than weight from now on :-)

I'm still training 5 days a week.

You've done well Rob! Well done mate.

I have just upped my intake of 6 eggs a day upto 10 a day Smile just the egg whites tho as the yolks contain fat.

You fat bastard what are you like 4ft nothing ?, I'm slimmer than you I'm a 46 waste now days was 58 when I started Embarassed , I've put on a shit load of muscle now my bingo wings have all but vanished but that's mainly the swimming I'd of thought, I have two things I really need to shift my bitch tits and my wobbly belly, I doubt I'll get rid of the belly completely with out the help of a tummy tuck but that's a lottery win pipe dream so I'll have to live with it I suppose.

The thing that is killing me the most at the moment is the leg press 4 sets with 130kg then 5 sets with 70kg, And the inner and outer abductor machine, I do 5 sets of 20 with 60kg on the inner and 5 sets of 20 with 70kg on the outer, You know you've done something after that matey, They have a upright sit up machine that I do 5 set of 20 again but with 100kg just to warm up before I do the other 500 sit ups one the mat with the crunchy device lol.

Keep it up Stu the hardest thing is to keep motivated when the weight stops coming off, You just have to believe it will happen in the end, In the mean time you're getting fitter and fitter which is more important at the end of the day anyway.

I'm not doing any leg exersize Rob, apart from the treadmill and bike.
I was only walking on the treadmill but now I alternate, I run for a minute then walk for 2 minutes. Do that for 20 minutes when I get to the gym and then again for 10 minutes at the end.
The rest of the time is on free weights, which I'm loving.
I was expecting to see nothing this time I weighed myself, my muscle is starting to grow.
I do feel loads more fitter especially as I don't smoke anymore Smile

You are doing very well aswell mate, bet it feels good in yourself achieving what you have so far!

It's funny we're doing the same thing lol, I do 1 minute runs then walk for 2 minutes as well, I do ten mim warm up then ten mins of the above then move on to my first round of machine and free weights, Then I do legs then another 20 mins on the treadmill then back to legs and finally sit ups and leg lifts with the 10kg medicine ball meeting my legs in the middle, I don't really enjoy the running much not with me still being 22 stone it's a bit of a chore lol, But I do enjoy the hour in the pool. Fat bastards like being in the water but I hit that pretty hard for an hour non stop and finally 20 mins in the Jacuzzi to relax my poor weary bones lol.

keep it up Stu you're doing fantastic in fact we both are lol.

I would do the pool but I'm to self conscious with my moobs :-(

Think we are doing great Rob, it's good to hear someone else is doing the same as what I'm doing and it's working for them.

My goal is to loose the belly and moobs and have a nice toned body, not bothered about loosing the weight asking as its not fat and its all muscle lol

It is hard work but well worth it :-)

Keep it up but think of different routines if you hit a stopping point as your body will get used to the same one after a while.even doing the same things in a different order works well to help push on

Agreed I've been swapping my routine about lately, I used to an hour and half CV but now only do two 20 minute stints in-between the weights and sit ups, And I swap around sometimes, Plus I've been adding in new equipment just add a little bit of spice, Though sometimes I wish I'd never seen the abductor machines lol.
