oil pump replacement

How big of a job is this? have a small leak around that area somewhere, not pinpointed it to the pump but just getting myself prepared.

its not a nice job with engine in situ

you need to fully remove the sump (alluminium part too) plus splash shields oil pickup
remove timing cover 10mm bolts and ancilliaries from front of engine including engine mount, crank pulley, belts etc, bolts that locate cover to head x 3
then its tight getting it off

have fun though lol

sounds worse than doing a gearbox so ill leave that job alone lol

its almost a days work to change them over tbh
