So.... What are people's thoughts? I'm only 12 minutes into it and chris Evans is irritating, he's trying to be like clarckson and he's just not! I thought I'd give it a go and I'm finding it cringey!

It's horrendous! I was open minded and thought I'll give it a go but Jesus Christ! And Matt le blanc is acting....not presenting! I actually can't stand it! Switched it off and won't be watching it again! Can't wait for clarkson May and hamster on the new show

Watched all of about 15 minutes and turned it over .... not sure if its because i was judging it from the old one ... but it just wasnt that brilliant .... as much as i was a fan of clarkson and co .... i certainly wont pay to watch it on prime ....

Original top gear was running out of steam besides some of special episodes being ok .
Was not biggest fan of clarkson but he could pull being a cock off and James may added some balance to clarksons obnoxious flare ...

If anything I quite liked the new power lap twist with a bit of rally cross thrown in

i won't tell anyone, don't need download here, if lazy shops do it for you & put it on a dvd for about 60baht or will load up a memory stick or phone for less. Piracy here is shocking lol :-D

Its quite a big business over here and plenty of sites to download ... its the miracles of the internet also ...

Didn't think it was that bad, same format as you say but not really that bad autocross was a bit different something to watch.

I didnt see the autocross bit ...

It wasnt really autocross, just instead of the celebrity in a reasonable priced car doing the normal track they have made a bit of off roading for it too which makes it a bit different

Absolute load of rubbish, was cringing watching that trash why on earth they tried to copy the original format is beyond me but really just don't work and won't be bothering to watch that again

Well watched the second episode I don't think it was too bad. Yeh matt is shit but apart from that it was ok. Bare in mind it's all new to em and it's hard to take the others place cos Clarkson was rate funny but let's see how it goes once they settle in.

Watched both episodes last night - not overly impressed !
They have a very hard act to follow but as you boys said - same format done badly !
Only bit i thought was good last night was JB canning the new McLaren 675 - lovely looking car that !
Should have got a few old race drivers to do it and Guy Martin as he's quality on TV !

Arent most celebrity's .... when i went to the top gear track a few years back now ... to the bodyshop/ paint shop .... the owner said that clarkson was a big ego'd nob in real life ...

Not impressed, as Evans seems to be working directly from a script or maybe it's his annoying voice, I think they should not have followed the old format so much, quite like the rallycross though.

Im downloading all the old episodes so I can forget the rubbish I just watched
