Pictures first.

Plan is to finish my current gtir this year and then move over to this one and get it done for next year some time.
The rear arches are bubbling and the back of the sills need repairs.
And the passenger footwel needs welding also.
Someone fit bucket seats badly so those frames need cutting out and new gtir mounts welding back in.
So will be asking everyone that's breaking one if the can cut both floor pans out for me...
I have started selling a few things off it that aren't wanted.
And swapped the steering wheel into my other gtir.
And then swapped the momo one in the pictures for a seat of standard seats.
So all I need are the rear seat brackets and rear quarter cards Smile

Plan at the moment it to do a standard rebuild but I do have other thoughts in my head so this may change..

Yeah should keep me busy for a while mate lol
I will start getting the interior brackets and plastics first I think.
Then find a carpet Smile
The shell is very clean. Has the usual rust areas but nothing major.

I didn't notice at first how the seat rail has been cut out. Would that have been for super low mounting?

Andy Sunny Gti

Leaving it there on the grass against the fence will rot in no time if you don't plan on touching for a while.
Can't you put a cover under and over it?
Good luck with the project, man you are seriously addicted....it's sure in your blood.

Andy it's only on about 6 inches of grass mate.
The drive sweeps around under the window. Smile
When im feeling better I will shimmy it over more towards the house and it should then be completely off the grass Smile
Yeah im definitely addicted to these little blighters haha it's all good fun tho Smile
