I think a small cooler would be fine.

Im going to mount the cooler between the return from the power steering rack and the reservoir, could anyone confirm this is correct? Smile

As you can see on this diagram (copied from above), the return line is the one that connects at the point (a), runs forward through the steel loop cooler across the front of the radiator and returns to the reservoir.

So yes, between the return line and the intake point of the reservoir.

So I ended up getting the small cooler I was talking about on the previous page. its a rather nice fit behind the front grill Smile

for the sake of updating this thread with the end result, I mounted the cooler in the wheel arch.

The lines were really tight around the radiator mate

I see you are not running rubber bushes, if it's alloy rad then you are more then likely to crack it.
