Hi guys just need an opinion before I rivet this up, should I keep the heat shield I've made shiney or paint it body colour or matt black

Body colour & perhaps bond on over riveting .

won't be shiny for long as will catch soot staining to some extent, could look a bodge body colour though :-/ tricky one ...

yeah i know, was thinking shiney as it does look quite smart at the mo picture doesnt do it justice but also thinking stove matt heat paint then i dont have to polish it. it will defo need painting or clearing as its aircraft spec aluminium lithium so it'll fizz away if left untreated

Could you not spray it body colour then spray it with some heat clear lacquer heat paint ....

I'm thinking of going black, if I don't like it I still have a 5 litre can of nitro mors to chuck over it an put it back shiney Very Happy obviously i'll remove it first though, lol
