I want to fit some aero catches to my carbon fibre bonnet, but a little nervous! Has any body ever done it? Any tips? Or best left to a pro?

I have visions of the carbon shattering or something? So it's pretty straight forward then?

carbon is pretty robust we used to cut it with a plaster cast saw. the gell coat is more likely to get damaged than the carbon weave. but as said a dreamer is ideal. just mask area and make sure you wear a dust mask as carbon dust is quite bad for you.
