GTI-R carbon parts

Im thinking of buying carbon bonnet and roof spoiler from an ebay seller called Knight-racer:

Carbon bonnet

Carbon roof spoiler

Does anyone got any previous experiences with these products or the seller?
How much do you think these carbon parts are worth?

There is a guy on here called greygtir (tom) he does alot of work with fibreglass and carbon bonnets etc, look on breakers/ traders section under prototype motorsport. Very good work and cheaper than knight racer

Knight Racer are charging £1550 for the carbon bonnet?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  And £1365 for the carbon spoiler?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  

I remember they did a group-buy a few years ago and the bonnets were more like £400 (or something around that figure).................

Definitely give greygtir a PM, or add a post to his trader's section as you may be able to get what you want at a much better price.

I dont think he is charging that amount, checked out the last 2 items sold, and the bonnet was sold for £550 and £525, spoiler was sold for £260 - £365.

Do you know if the guys in the group-buy were satisfied? fitment and quality?

the products are good quality and fit but packaging can be a huge problem as theres been a fair few damaged when they get to there destination so make sure you get them to take out adequate insurance and you check the items as soon as they arrive for damage.

as said above may be worth talking to prototype motorsport on here as he may possibly be able to better price and his work is top motch

Knight racer stuff is good using hyper carbon

Hyper carbon is glass fibre lol

Tbh mate go ahead with them i dont have intentions of doing a standard bonnet or a spoiler. Well maybe a spoiler but not this year.

not seen the new knight racer stuff but the old bonnets ect they did were good but there prices seem to have doubled overnight
im sure last year the bonnets were only about £550 ish

Got my doubts about the seller, got some negative feedbacks, asked him a bunch of questions about the shipment, packaging, fitment and so on, only got answer regarding the price he asked for: 550£ for the bonnet and 350£ for the spoiler. Which isnt that bad if its good quality, but it has to be packed extremly well and handled with care if i should get it undamaged all the way to Norway.

there were a few negative comments about fitment and quality when knight racer first started.id guess that was sorted years ago especially when you look at the cars that have knight racer products fitted
if its ebay negative comments id guess its from someone who wants everything for nothing

I paid 550 for my bonnet last year and 300 for the spoiler this year from knight racer and fit and quality are very good and both items where packed very we'll

My carbon bonnet is knight racer, had it for over 5 years now, car has been.sat for the past 10 months and the lacquer is still good, one of the vents has gone a bit cloudy only recently but other than that have no complaints.

Just checked mate and don't have any front end pics on there. But here's a few different angles to show how it fits around the lights wing and of the underside

Niice looks like a perfect fit.

From what I remember it only has 2 bolt holes either side so you pretty much drop it in and no allignment need

That looks a very good fit best I've seen in a carbon bonnet
