well after waiting for months and saving up finally managed to get the engine sorted out from you know who

so hopefully I can get everything swapped over plus boxes of new parts and get the car up and running in the next few weeks

I have got a few queries regarding certain parts and best procedure for refit so I will open a thread on the help/advice page for those of you who are seasoned experts in engine refits to give your advice for me and other novices

also had injectors tested and serviced but still waiting on the clutch, been 6 weeks now  

turbos ready to go on also with a bit of grinding on the bell housing

Still waiting for clutch to be made in germany (helix) they cant get the cover plates made by another company, been about 9 weeks waiting now. bought it off rallynuts so not sure what to do really  thats why i bought the zx cos i was bored  

These are Oz chrono ht's I believe and came with the car so I didn't want to spend another £600 or so on alloys when ive already got a set.

That sucks mate. The alloys look similar to comp mo's

was talking to a friend the other day about going to some of these car shows etc and he suggested that I put some info on the car itself so when its parked up people can learn abit more about them!? I thought a good idea but rather than put bhp 0-60 etc wouldn't it be a good idea to have the rallys which the R's took part in, so on the bonnet you could have:

100 lakes
Acropolis
Safari
Monte carlo

what do you lot think?? or any other suggestions dont wan to have the exact same decals as the nme cars

well could do, but im not big headed or anything like that, just have a sheet saying standard!!

Got on at the weekend putting the engine in the car finally, Jobs alot easier with a mate whos a qualified mechanic and a tractor with front end loader

After 6 hours, and alot of f***ing and cursing the engine was in

this is as far as ive got so far, just need a few bits of my old sunny and bob, get the intercooler pipe modified to fit turbo and will be almost ready to start up

well had a bit of a scare the other day, hooked up a battery to the car and nothing  anyways turned out the battery was a dud so tried a big tractor battery and hey prestow

most things work, but theres a dash light or 2 that dont work, think the bulbs have blown i.e hazard lights work but only one indicator light illuminates :/ and also the drivers window wont go up all the way, i must of put the glass in wrong or something but apart from that its almost ready to start this next week
