Bulb size

What's the bulb size on a pulsar, is it h7? As looking at getting a hid kit off eBay! Thanks

Pretty sure its h7's

They're H4. 2 filaments in the same bulb.

I bought this set the other week and they work well. It also passed the MOT which some conversions don't..

I got the 6 - I think the 8 is too blue..
There's no extra wiring as everything just plugs in. I took the headlights right out to get the bulb in and make sure it was all right as this makes it a bit easier. But wouldn't be hard if you do it all on the car.

I just got back from work checked my cupboard as i have two new ones sitting in there wich are h4 ..... so bugger knows where i got h7 from ... 

Nice 1 going to order a set and get them fitted! The standard ones that are in it atm are that dim it doesn't even seem as though there on! Cheers johnboy that's really helpful!

Just opened the box and it makes no sence at all! The instructions are useless and wiring is my enemy   !

Yes, I seem to have connect all the wires up as they only seem to go in 1 way and connected it into the plug on the car Which usually plugs into the back of the bulb (if that makes sense) and nothing! So not sure what Iv done wrong, does the ballast box need earthing? I nee john boys help I think! I hate wiring!! And you want to see these translated instructions! There beyond useless!

I'll look into it at the weekend, I'm wondering if the ballasts have to be earthed to the car?

I would assume on nissan it simply case of plugging original car bulb plug to the mating male plug on the ballast & then the other loom & plug on ballast runs to the HID bulb tail connector. 12v hot & earth's are all used from original loom except for some differing wiring on specific manufacturers/models & most of those come with a non plug & play wiring kit .

I don't understand why it's not working then? I'll have a proper go at it on Saturday and see what happens

This one doesn't actually take a hot wire from the loom, it gets all it's power from the existing light socket so there are no extra wires.
Tried to take some pics but not too good. Ballasts bolted to existing bolt holes. Tomorrow I'll unbolt one of the ballasts and see if it keeps working...

that is what I said, 12v hot & earth are used from original loom, the ballast male plug that goes to the original loom ... if plugged in all correctly & original loom plugs are not corroded thus giving poor connection it is possible you got a dud kit but would not expect both to be bad. swap some parts over (such as bulb then power lead) & see if you can get at least one working.

The box as such no but there  will be  a wire from it that earths to the body

My mate rekons it could be when you put the bulb in the holder that acts an earth? Iv not actually fitted it yet, just loosely plugged it in to see if it works, and nothing!

watch out for the bulbs they aint cheap i went for uprated bulbs and to be honest they are brighter than the hid kit on my leon cant fault them
