what size of breaks behind 17's

just wondering what a safe size brake is that fit behind 17's was going to go for 309mm discs but if i have to change to 17's then im thinking i could maybe go bigger to say 330mm? whats everyone else got behind wheel sizes?

depends on offset of the rims and style of caliper but with a good offset you can get upto 335mm behind 17s as ive done it

I have hi spec monster 6 pots behind my 17s

ok think ill try the 330mm and try and find a wheel suitable enough to fit over them, dont really want to go higher than 17's though but calipers below dont know the exact dimensions of them but looks like he has big spacers on there also

These are going under 18s tho but there is a thread on drift works where a guy has squeezed them on 330mm discs under 17s try n dig it out

Porches lambos audis and vw all use the gt8 caliper. Yes going on my r. I have seen these fitted with 330discs though

thats gonna be serious stopping power let us know how you get on with these im gonna try out the 330mm should be sufficient enough for the weight of an r, those make my aston calipers look like fisherprice lol
