Got few jobs done today

Changed the water hoses behind engine to samco ones, fitted some custom braided lines to my non abs brake proportion valve.

Dropped my lump in today also, forged engine, quaife box and my new nismo from lsd.



Also checked to see how my wheels would look,

Busy week with the car, went to change my rocker cover and noticed I had I have a major issue with my engine, it's jumped a rocker and nipped one of the valves, how it's happened? I'm not sure yet . I'll remove my engine and fix it when I have time, my main concern is I want it on the road asap.

As I want it in the road this summer I bought glens forged engine as it had only 1500 miles on it. I'll rebuild mine in my own time.

This all happened last week but not the end of the world. As I was waiting on it arriving I removed the rear subframe to replace with one I had with nismo bushes





Changed all the bushes to polybush ones

My new engine arrived very quickly. Was pretty much a bare block so I took my lump out broke it down and transfers it over. Fitted it Sunday. Has been a quick fix but not a cheap one.

That's really bad luck mate, set of rocker stoppers next time!

Is that a Bush set from Martyn? I've got a full set to go on the red car. Think they might actually be whiteline.

Yeah it's bushes I bought from Martyn but hadn't fitted yet for my red uk spec car. Thought I'd throw them on this car.

Reguarding the engine I could of simply swapped heads with spare ones I have sitting but would rather fix it properly than throw an old head on it.

It's booked in on Tuesday for remap I should see 400.

It has just about every handling mod fitted plus quaife box and nismo diff so should be a good solid car.....,....... Hopefully.

To fit that manifold, rotate turbo housing,fit front mount behind bumper and make intercooler pipework to suit and fit bumper guard was a bit of a challenge. Not a lot of space under there

Gotta say this is the first leather interior in an R I actually like. Looks so tidy and love the engine bay! Makes me wanna change mine from looking like a dirty pig

Pretty pleased with how it looks so far, still got my spot light grill to fit I think that will set the car off

How did the remap go? Still using the Nistune?

I prefer the retro look of the black trims but I'll prob just leave them white for now.

Drop car of yesterday and not got it back yet. Still using nistune.

First day been out working on the car, sun comes out and you start to get a bit of motivation. Hopefully get out in it more this year.

Test fitted my grill today, just need to drop it of to get painted but I like the look
