Just bought this shell which is mega clean.

Can't be assed swapping everything over but should be worth it.

My black car is pretty tidy so I'll just keep for something else.

Yeah got the black one original from tee, was a bloody death trap when I got it

Can't wait to see the GF panels on! Not sure Luxie leather interior will go with the extra harshness of poly windows & GF doors?  A cage with door bars & buckets might suit better?

Re-shelling doesn't take long especially when everything I have bought is new for mine.

I got it for slighty less than what he was asking + £625 to have it shipped to mine. Should be here for Sunday morning.

Removed my engine today , hopefully throw the car together in no time.

475 mile plus ferry trips to and from the Isle of Wight so it's not to bad I thought

id have done it for less than that

Yeah but someone has to drive there and collect it then drive all the way to Scotland
Fuel is not cheap in a truck, it would cost me around 300 in fuel to get there and back maybe even more and your looking at 18 hours plus wear and tear on your truck so don't think that's bad at all
Most places charge a £1 a mile based on return journey in which case that would be quite cheap at price given

It's 150-200 for the ferry crossing plus £1 a mile. I'd thought it be £600 before I even looked for quotes.

Well got my new shell delivered last week, looking forward to getting it on the road. Everything will be getting replaced on it but as I have it all sitting am hoping to build the full car in a few weeks, that's if the weather hold up.













As you can see from the last pic I ditched the abs system and carbon canister, makes the engine bay look much neater.

The day I took the dash off to tackle the wiring, bad wiring bugs me so I ripped out everything that wasn't up to scratch including the alarm and solider everything back up the way it should be.



If weather hold hopefully I might drop my engine in tomorrow.

Nice progress, engine bay looks great now it matches the rest of the car.
