My cars too!

I put a vauxhall red top lump in my old 1972 clubman, on webbers made about 200 hp but to be honest it was undrivable. Torque steer scared any race compertition away off the lights

Ah ah!!! i keep on running A-series, cops in here don't like highly modded cars....even if they know nothing about them.

I like the green fred   no point blending in ....stand out from the crowd .

yep, true nomad! but i keep that green or i make them goes dark green...???

I like the green mate its different but at the same time fits well into the era of the car like it a lot

Well, in the morning i mounted one wheel to check colour is ok and all suits well together....
And it's perfect!
In need to design a wheel center too as the one supplied is not my taste...

Yep i really like the two colours they go really well together ....what colour is the mini ? ..... and what you got in mind for the centres ?

i didn't realise i didn't answer you nomad! mini is green, it's my van!

just because these days are more mini oriented than pulsar, i pass through the MOT without any trouble with my ex-race mini...it was a must in case of selling it or riding it so...!!!

i may goes for a little tune stage putting a little turbo on the little 998cc....but tomorrow i begin to strip my 1300 race engine to make it rebored in 0.030' more and change the camshaft to put a STR930 wich was used by the 64" rally minis which won the monte carlo rally in 1964...so 50 years ago!

i'm also gathering bits and bobs to lighten the van or the clubman estate...don't know really beacause i'm changing my mind like a child in a big toys warehouse....  

Well, here to show you something a bit different. something you will see just here....i have some project about opening a "shop", especially a customizing and engineering shop....and here is a little display of what i can be able to do.

By engineering i mean make my own custom parts, in billet alloys...my own design of wheels is on the way of prototyping...by the way, i will offer full customing on them...colour, engraving, shape, dish, marking...all. 

I have some things in mind about the R, but...later!

I design my wheel center on a cad software, and i make some strain and stiffness simulation to check if they are tough enough to be used! So now i go for a prototype batch for road testing and press testing too...

Now first prototype batch has been machined, and i'm near ready to get it anodised before testing on the road.

why don't you machine up some hubcentric spacers for gtir at a fair price as theres a few would buy them off you, just a thought!

we can try to work that out, but to be honest, superforma do this very well and they are twice cheaper than any machinning shop!! let's try to go for a group buy with them if some on here are interested in!
