found a couple of pics of some of my old toys



r19 1.9td had a bit of work done by a company called van aaken, was very quick off the mark




had an xr3i lump in, had some great fun in that.....



my supersport would have been seen racing round dartford and southend. used to piss off all the xr2, nova gte etc boys off as they thought they'd just been done by a 1300 he he it was a mk1 xr2 bored out to a 1700. rapid as fuck think that was my favourite, had konis all round , lowered 2" handled so well. think this picture was pre work done.

I had one in black with a bored out standard engine.
Loved that car.

Certainly does Pete, I wondered who'd be the first to notice. Id get from my mum and dads, se London, to Dartford,race around for a bit then on to Southend, race round some more, get home and still have 1/4 tank left from £10

I'd of been 3  and yeah big up the escort van!!! My first car was a mk 4 xr3i convertible loved that fucking thing haha and only paid £500 for it! I miss my old mk3 xr3i cab too they were the days.... Had some bloody pace to them aswell for simple cars

Supersport's were a very fun car - even standard - my mate had one while i was at Dartford college in the mid 90's and we used to tear up the one way too - then he got a Nova 1.3SR which i used to cane as my 1.2 Flair just didnt cut the mustard.
Those were the days when we used to drive each others cars and not give a shit about insurance etc as all the camera's and technology was not about - just dont get caught was the key
