hi guys ,could anyone tell me the best place to buy a external wastegate? i have seen a stainless manifold on the japseed site that has a flange for wastegate £179 would i gain much buying this maniold or would it be just as good converting my standard manifold to take the external wastegate? iv got a fairly high spec pulsar and looking to run around 450bhp.thanks sy Smile

External is better than internal as its more precise and better than internal as theres less back pressure. .. You could get the standard manifold adapted wich they are cast iron so it will need to be tig welded obviously. it depends on how much you want to faff around . Obviously you would see better gains on a more free flowing manifold.

Yeah i agree just be careful of fake ones though maybe better off going to a reputable company rather than take a chance on ebay or something. ...it seems like lots of fake tial wastegates about i still think your looking around the 300 mark for a new one.

Has anyone had experience with the Demon Motorsport external wastegates? They seem to be highly thought of on other (non-GTiR specific) sites, but haven't heard anyone running one on a GTiR before. Something like this:

I know the lengths they go to to replicate them is amazing tial could employ them and get the cost down Razz
