where do the nismo optional fog lights go!

got these and not sure where abouts they go!

i had a set of those once
if i remember correctly they fit into the stock bumper but cant remember where exactly sorry!

yeah they are weird! i would like to fit them when i fit the light pod but just cant see how they can fit without sticking out. trying to find pics but cant find any anywhere!

no youll need to cut them into bumper (cant remember where exactly) but think one of the centre slats needs to be cut either side to accomodate them

saw a set for sale last year on a car but the car was too far away from me, also had nismo steering wheel

I thought the fog lights fitted in the brake ducts?

I don't think they were an option for the Gtir was they?

I've seen many skylines and n15 pulsars with them on.

Think I've seen one Gtir with them on.

i remember the username of the guy we sold them to on the modifiers a few years back and it was 'tomwallington' dont know if he had a pic of them fitted

ironically a couple years later we bought the whole car back from him when he bailed out the scene due to getting one of his relatives up the duff lol

They are in the optional extras booklet so they are definately for the gtir, but i have no idea where they go! mystery continues...

im sure they go where the mesh is for the brake ducts, sure it was there on the car I saw for sale

This is my first pulsar Gtir with spotlights in the bumper, not sure what make they were.
I'm sure this is where people put the nismo ones tho?

They are different ones, I've only ever seen one set of those in my time.
They are a smaller light with plastic around them that's the same shape as the air ducts

just read an article on a silvia forum suggesting that they are universal to all nissans of the era, they certainly look the same as the gtir ones, and have a strip on metal along the top which bolts into the bumper

I dont get why people mount them in the brake ducts, aren't they are there for a reason

the pics in that link are my old set of nismo fogs. i was planning on mounting them in the brake ducts. i didn't want to cut into the bumper.

i sold these several years ago

yeah, im not sure about sticking them in the brake ducts, but there isnt anywhere else, i dont mind cutting the bumper, as long as thats the correct position for them!

I sourced a set of these also and scratching my head where to put them. Brake ducts personally would look the best although I wanted to use that for its purpose.

Trying for ages to find a picture of these mounted in the correct place.
