interior question

A question for all who still visit this forum

My car has a half rear cage and no back seats.

Im thinking about building an MDF floor from the back of the taillights to the front of where the back seats would meet up with the floor carpet. Ill cover the MDF with some carpet and adding sound deadening underneath.

My question is, Ive seen alot of builds where there is no visible screws holding all of this down which looks super neat, but how is this done?

Screw around the fuel pump cover? Seat belt anchor points? Just need longer bolts ? I’ve been thinking the same thing I hate the spare wheel in the way I want a flat floor to out shopping etc and look smarter

Thats what I was thinking, ive got no sound deadening back there either, so an opportunity to do that, make it quieter and look neater.

Kinda wish i kept the rear seats now im older and want it more streetable...

Yeah I got the back seats back in mine and got it back to a more stock look and a bit more functional. Wish I didn't strip and chuck everything though!

There are so many little things over the years I basically dumped that I wish I kept. Only so much room. Unless you are Johnny, im sure his living room is full to the ceiling of gtir hoard.
