I know how the R works a lot more than how my GF works haha 😂

What jobs are people doing?

Just reconditioned rear brakes on 350gt, replacing lower ball joints on pulsar and sorting a few little jobs on skyline (new bulbs, new thermostat, fitting aftermarket temp dial, recon rear brakes....

Thats actually so true mate, I can relate Laughing

All I've got to do fluids and my car is ready for the dyno again. Contemplating changing the prop shaft donuts before I connect it up, Ive been putting it off for a few years LOL

What jobs are people doing?

Just stripped a mini r53 engine from when I replaced it a while back.

Trying to tidy the unit

R wise one is away for stone chips etc so bumper and bonnet painted bit paint correction. It’s been away ages but it was only sitting in the garage at home ( think I am helping him do the work as enjoy out like that)

Other R I painted inside of the  boot to tidy it up as battery had leaked with previous owner. Next is tackle immobiliser

Really hoping to get to the 30th and actually get some of my R’s back on the road ( it’s been far to long)

Black wide arch one only took it off the road to renew rubber fuel pipes but it’s just sat. Wired the Nissan digi dash in ages ago and done nowt since

Keep thinking concentrate on just one but can not bring myself to part with them.

Same here, concentrate on one car but 30 year old Nissans need abit or love and attention every few months, don't want to sell anything but at the same time want to get an R34 GTR but don't think it will ever happen

Hope you all had a good Christmas.
I missed out on buying Mike's kaput GTIr and searched for a similar project R to work on over the Winter but they are very rare beasts nowadays. Still, I've no regrets about selling my R back in March as it neeeded to much work underneath which isn't my thing.

Anyway, while I'm waiting I bought this R56 mini as a short term project to work on for £1450 with a suspected timing chain slip.

Mine is now in it's forever home, still starts on the key but it's getting stripped and rebuilt in the next 1/4.
Had so much on the last 2 years and absolutely zero money with buying a house.

Will be back in the black come payday and I'll have some new parts for it.
New lines (all lines), going the MCM route with the engine and putting coil on plugs with a new ECU, hopefully in April.

Still have lots to do with the house, new steel RCJ to stop my bedroom over garage falling through the garage.
Then I have to find some soundproofing to fill the cavity of the garage ceiling and plasterboard it in, not before running circuitry for lighting, then resin pour the floor, relay the driveway, new windows and some decent internal doors (made of cardboard currently), new megaflow unit to rid the tiny pressureless immersion unit so we can actually have a decent shower.
Some underfloor heating to lay downstairs and possibly upstairs at some stage, all laminate flooring so it's quite cold on the feet + noisy.
Garden to nurse back into life come spring, lots of cementing between flags and flattening out the patios, an automated watering system for the garden as it's pretty flowery, not big but lots of beds that takes up a lot of time to keep watered manually.

Was going to do the pulsar myself but with all the above & then some, I won't have zero time or energy to do it. It's going to a local place who know the pulsar well and I'll do the finishing touches like the ecu and wiring.

Got all my diagrams ready, got an ECU in mind but can't get it until April/May.
Started stripping it to make it easier, hope I remember where everything go's!
