Modena Diff's!!!!

Just had this email from Frank as I was asking him about a potential rear diff for the R.

"The plan is at least 20 front 10 centre and 20 rear

The good thing for the rear is its almost the same as the R180 SUBARU with some small mods

We have just fitted our first one to a customer's car here OZ and he is most pleased I'm sure it will be on some Forum soon enough

So I guess the plan is to start a group buy again we have already approx. 12 on the cards

I won’t lie my names been down twice and the end date moved massively and the price on either Center or rear doubled. What’s available ? when and prices posted to uk inc or allowing for import duty

Still early days and more info needed, all I have so far is the info above!

Old prices were:

Front Diff: £600, P&P £85, Import Tax Est £170.
Centre Diff: £1500, P&P £140, Import Tax Est £420.
Rear Diff?? New Part, but hopefully pricing will be similar to the front.

I'll keep you updated as I learn more.

Put my name down for front diff

Depends on dates required for money for me.
I've pretty much got nothing spare until March next year but I can pay outright for a front and rear if around those prices.

Anyone want to keep this going, copy pasta the below and add your name

That £1500 centre diff price nearly doubled by the time it was all said and done. I'd have been in at the quoted price, but I had to back out after he released the final cost. Can you get some confirmation about what the centre is actually going to cost?

Got this email from Frank last week:

'Finally !!!

Next week we will start to assemble the front Lsd units so just giving you the heads up

I have approx. 18 units but I must be careful not to cut out the people that have pre ordered

so you may let the word out.'

So if people are still interested in the fronts let me know and i'll send you over some contact details.

We have approx. 8 left after the locals
Will be quite a while before we get to the centres and rears
For sure the rears will be next as we are doing a run of R180 rears very soon
Let me know of any front sales before we sell out

Hi Everyone,

So Frank at Modena has made some Rear LSD's for the GtiR, he has two left in stock priced at $2500 AUD, postage to the UK is around $170 AUD + Taxes. (£1293 & £87 at time of posting)

It's based on the R180 Lsd he makes for the Subaru, but adapted for std LH & RH GtiR drive shafts and a non friction modifying oil.

If you'd like one the details are in the post above, It be a first come first served basis.
