Its not the best picture in the world but it shows that hose disappearing round the back of the plenum (with the hose IN FRONT of the clutch MC, lol!). On the back of the plenum there's one stud sticking out & one M6 tapped hole which fixes support brackets for this power steering hose and also the brake servo vacuum line, which heads down to the vertical connection on the black boost/vacuum box under the inlet. They're kinda like P-clip type brackets and are a bit of a faff to get back on once the engine/plenum is in-situ!

in fact, here's a better photo showing said brackets and exact hose routing (extracted from my useful photo's stash)  

not chasing that I know how that goes if you look close at the picture with the engine removed you will see the hard pipe coming off the clutch master and how it is routed!!!!

All I know is that it loops round the rear & RH side of the engine, between various bits of loom and coolant pipe until it reaches a bracket (similar to what flexible brake lines are attached to) on top of the gearbox.
If you're still not sure I can try and grab a picture tonight but im not sure how helpful it would be with all the engine bay crap in the way...

Cheer Mike but I am sorted now the picture I posted shows the direction it takes through the clips reason mine is all out of shape is someone has used a different Clutch master cylinder with the pipe outlet coming from the wrong side.. I will change the master and get it sorted.

Not much happened this break except picking up some new to the car wheels genuine TE37 volks, will be getting a refurb thinking gloss black..



been too busy rebuilding a wrx motor!! Really need to prioritize time for the R.

Wow did not realize a couple of months have passed.. Small update progress still going forward as ever and so determined not give up always excited to see this car and work on it..
Been in the Uk for a fair bit of time brought back some goodies of course, gear stick surround, full poly bush set for the car, clutch slave cylinder ( as mine was wrong ), a gtir flare I managed to find from one of my old cars also will go nicely in the passenger footwell.

did some work the other day pushing the old worn bushes out, also getting a collection of parts I want sand blasting and powder coating before reinstalling.

Finally got to have a solid couple of days on the car, got my front bottom arms refurbished and fitted with poly bushes, rear wheel bearings turned up so pressed the hubs in,

started on the wheels also removed all tyres,



next break try and get stuff to the sandblaster and then find someone to powder coat so I can start putting the rear end together..



tested fitted a wheel on the rear and it’s looking tight but should fit will know for sure ones subframe is back in.

Looking really good! Always awesome when you get a nice bit of progress and it gets the motivation going again to keep progressing.

Been a while.. but some progress is better than no progress...

sent a lot of parts to the sandblaster this week.,

re-installed my 5th wheel bearing as I forgot the front and rear hubs are different my bad..

then built up the rear brakes..

re-installed the clutch master cylinder and also cleaned up the top engine mount..

time to look for a powder coater

Busy around the house cleaning up really after all the bad weather..

little done on the car new rear calipers turned up after accidentally selling my owns... .. painted. And currently drying..



ive got endless projects waiting for a manifold for my water toy..

I’ve had the under shields for exhaust all sand blasted and currently sat in primer

Collected from the powder coating very impressed with the finish super happy.. will give me plenty to do now start building the rear end back together.

Managed to get out and get my heat shields all painted in VHT paint came out looking nice, can get these bolted back up

Made progress today fitting up the rear subframe everything is still loose need to order some new nuts as I think when they have been acid dipped become very loose fitting especially on the on the 4x subframe nuts (trip to Nissan)



but happy it’s going in the right direction

Yeh been struggling to find time on it as late.. still making progress by bolting parts back on the car, hopefully when i am next back i can start finishing off the rear, Drive shafts back in and tightening everything back up ready for wheels so i can concentrate on the front part next..

Is a big old job freshening up the undercarriage ...
