Story so far

Just read all the thread there. A lot of good work out into this now, not long left until you can enjoy the car again. Never fails to surprise me when you see cars being restored, how a bubble on the arch turns into a square foot or too of removing rust

All done, complete new set of rubbers, badges etc and repaint with new arches...

Thanks guys, I'm really pleased with it. All the new rubbers and scuttle panel really finish it off. I've got a brand new re-bounded steering wheeel to go in, plus a newly reburbished (mint) p1 interior to go in over the next few weeks. Also bought some new team dynamics (Gloss Anthracite) wheels to fit...

Got car back after a flatten and polish, can now finally fit the phase 1 interior that I had professionally restored. (I prefer phase 1 interior) didn’t want to fit this until all body wrk was finished for obvious reasons.

Isn't the car meant to be a phase 1 anyway, in the tj1 grey?
Very rare to have a phase 2 Tj1.

It’s defo phase 2, had no umbrella, and it’s got air bags which were only phase 2, plus VIN is a phase 2 number
