This looks good, I would be interested in getting in on the group buy price depending. I could send in cables too. They are on my car, but I'm not using the car, plus I will need to remove the old ones to put the new ones on anyway!! So if needed I could probably ship them over to you.

Fitted my cables today, and they are great. Had abit drama's because I discovered the handbrake bracket on one of my rebuild calipers was back to front, couldn't out why one side was so slack.

I found a spare set of cables in my garage. So I may be out of this group buy sorry. If needed though I can send the cables off as a sample, however I am unsure if they are good until i fit them and try them out. Which wont be for a long time.

Morning Leighton,

Thanks for the email.

Bad news I am afraid.

What you have here is a typical OEM / manufacturers trick to keep the customer buying from dealers.

VERY specialized parts make up the cable, this is definitely not your average brake cable with turned parts.

I’m counting 3 separate mounting brackets, including the very trick integrated one on the end of the outer cable.

To avoid wasting any of your time, I can tell you with certainty that we cannot duplicate this cable.

Just to have the outer cable parts tooled up and made would cost hundreds of pounds.

If you can imagine your cable without it’s mounting brackets, and the integrated mounting/end fitting without its welded on mounting flange, then we are looking at something we could do for you.

Received the email today so it doesn't look good not unless the brackets could be cut and re welded I don't see it being an option Evil or Very Mad

That's no good, best to keep your cables and get new inners made if that's possible. Otherwise who needs mounting brackets when zip ties are so cheap Laughing

just do what Woody did and buy oem while can, price acceptable too really .
like said can get new cable inserted in old bodies.
other option as well is hang old cables over a bucket and feed penetrating & atf oil into them till works through then keep working cables till smooth movement . you guys in uk probably got most hassle with cable.
