Im looking for a light weight flywheel at present. Will an s13 flywheel fit on the R? The one I've seen is advertised as an s13,s14 sr20det flywheel. I've read something on another site to say it will. But just want to check it with you guys before I purchase. I have read a thread on here that said s13 clutches will fit aswell so it makes sense flywheel will also??

Yes that's looks to be correct. Just looked at some arp flywheel bolts for rnn14 and it says they won't fit sr20det. Thanks for that anyway lads.

Sorry they are bigger, the R has 11mm bolts. But from what I remember the flywheels are interchange in terms of size etc other than redrill.

Ok. So in theory you could just redrill the holes on an s13 flywheel. The s13 bolts are 10mm.

Id been looking at fidanza ones. Waiting for Part box to get back to me with a price. Seen one on ebay new for 410quid. Abit more than I wanted to pay.
Then I seen the competition clutch one for the s13. The ultra light. It weighs 4.6kg half the weight of other lightweights I'd been looking at. And it's 250quid. That was the appeal.
Looks great too. Pointless I know.
Will check the jun one. Thanks

Ok it's 290 that jun one. 360 with shipping from the homeland. Do u get hit with import tax aswell from Japan? At checkout it just says 10 charge and 56quid DHL delivery. I'm thinking that could include import tax??

Is easy enough redrill other flywheels, don't think I would go as light as 4.6, pending on what you doing .  6.5 is light enough for most ...

It's just short of 5kg. I really like it. It was about £250, (http://www.competitionclutch.co.uk/csindex.php?vn=nissan) I think it was 2-760T-STU - If you want one ask the garage I got it from as they are a comp dealer.

Thanks for that. Very interesting.
That's the part code I've been looking at. Think I'm gonna give it a go.
Where did u order from mreguest?

Hello,

was in my thread:
http://www.gtir-motorsport-club.com/t6728-lightweight-flywheel-competition-clutch#99531

ordered from here:
http://www.euro-spec2000.co.uk/

Speak to Ben or Kerry. Not sure what they do about postage but worth a call, they can probably get comp to deliver direct to you?

It's just around the corner from my house so I picked it up, drilled it out with a hand drill and used my old flywheel as a vertical guide. Remember to drill slowly with a good drill bit and plenty of oil. Or if you have a pillar drill then you'll probably get through no problem...

Good luck!
Adam
