That head is off mitsu pajero guy bought it on auction with note non runner and started his journey from Pborough to London made 10 miles and stopped...

I know they suffered problems like this as my boss had same problem with hes mitsi truck ... whats the shitty dual mass clutch from ????

Shitty Audi a4 2.0 tdi pd...

Thats some serious failure of the pressure plate .... ive done so many dual mass flywheels now what happend to the good old days of a simple clutch lol ... have you done any solid flywheel conversions ????

One or two on transits. Nothing on passengers cars. Apparently (bloke from luk said) depending on box not everything you can convert to single mass cos extra vibration might kill the box. there was some stuff that dmf got 100 deg springs and conversion only something like 30 deg and to do proper conversion you'd need different harmonic balancer too and it's still not advisable...

I heard the same with the conversions .... i did my mates van to a solid flywheel thats 2 years ago and its still going strong ....

So I've got 2 more I've thought I'd share....
Costumer was complaining about slight lack of power... Came up with misfire no4 so lets check plugs...

Lol ...thats some shitty sludge ..... i did a 1.6hdi with fooked injector seals that had been leaking for a good while took the cover off was nowhere near as bad as that though ....

I never seen stuff like that before either... Did love that Fiesta though... you wouldn't think that ht lead would seal okish submerged in coolant

Hyundai santa fe 2010 - all to remove the heater box to fix a broken flap. Very shit!

Broken diff was a 2013 santa fe. Came in with a knock so drove it up the road and back end felt loose but had a flat tire aswell. Back on the ramp the knocking was a front arb link. I threw the pump jack to the back of the ramp to jack the back up but wasn't going to bother as i thought nah it's just the arb link then as i was going to push the jack back i looked up and WOH.

That looks like right pig of a job... I absolutely hate dashboard jobs....

I didn't do it thank god however the other mech was telling me when he goes away they were going to get me to put it back together but that didn't happen anyway.
