One of my mates sent me this a few days ago!!! Is it me or is the price of these motors slowly rising??
This is the first import I have seen for 10k starting.

Probably, a lot only use cars at weekend in japan & even then not every weekend plus many are stored in dry parking lots in apartments.
Is expensive though as grade 3.5B goes for 3 to 4.5 thousand gbp pending on interest.
Don't look bad but will struggle shift it at that price in uk plus torque gt have habit of picking up some tat motors & not overly fussy on pre sale work.

Based upon your own experience.... Yet to others it may as well be biochemical research, Every is easy when you know how, I just cant be arsed to get off my arse (Not literally as im sat at a computer) and do the research Smile

Is it not also a game of pot luck and relying on the guys importing it for you.. So you never actually know what you are getting.

Also if you look at the import sheet it says it has marks both sides of the car .....so not totally mint as it looks hence the 3.5b ....

Yeh the auction reports are very accurate but ideally you want see what you buying or have good agent. They will do video & detailed images of all points plus you save a lot of money to cover minor fixes.
Ideally you want be trying buy as close to grade 4 as possible & with few extras so have good enough car/parts should ot not be a keeper, any minor marks want be on panels easily replaced/repaired (not rear quarter panels)
Still some super decent old R's going through auction but not regular occurrence so it takes time & bit more money than did couple years ago .
It far safer than buying used ones in uk, but I indeed too would like view in person at auctions.
Process in the UK is very easy for import & registration, plenty of guides online for those who want try. here importing is a big pain & costs about same again as pay for decent R at auction by time finished .
