Rocker Covers

Ok people what colour or design have you got on yours? Got a few ideas for mine but some more wouldnt hurt. Pics please

Ive got one standard colour and one bare metal ive polished it just needs a little more buffing ... but im going to spray one same colour as the car i think .... what you got in mind pete ???

I was also thinking of spraying it the same colour as the car but then im also thinking about something smart or a bit different. I like the rising sun design but its been done so considering something i havent seen

That looks pretty good Stu, if i went down the colour of the car route i would still have to add a little something else to it, not sure what mind you

i have a few different ones Pete choose wise as it makes the bay in my opinion. Ones I own or had 
Polished one even laqured was a pain to keep clean looking. Got a brand spanking new standard one. Have had samco blue one. At present have the black one with Nissan embossed and twin cam 16v on.you top mount or front as few plug cover options

Im sticking with the top mount, got a few ideas but as i cant draw for shit my designs aren't all that to look at

I've always liked brighter colours for rocker covers. A bright colour makes the centre piece of the engine bay stand out... the engine

wire brush and thinners then painted mine using red brake caliper paint

I'm going for a blue carbon look, johnny have you got a pic of the samco blue cover

I think the airbrush graphics on some custom bikes and helmets look great, something like that on a cam cover would look awesome, but probably not cheap.

On the subject of covers, who's fitted an sr20de cover?

All i can see is it doesn't have lugs at the back for the leak off pipes. I saw one at the scrappys ages ago and i knew i should've bought it

Yeah air brushing is fantastic and such an amazing skill. I am tempted to buy a kit and have a play.

Halfords do a cheapish airbrush kit ....

I would go for one with a little compressor

Plenty on ebay from £40 with a compresser .....
