Worlds shittest wiring competition?

I was unravelling the aftermarket 'clifford' alarm system and it looks like it was installed by Stevie Wonder.
Ive got a black & white wire turning into red wire which finally turns into a black wire which was inserted into the coil pack.

A red wire turns into a black wire which was wired to the positive battery termanil.

Its reassuring to know my wiring embraces diversity, shame it looks shit.

Least someone else would not of traced the wires in a hurry to bypass the alarm

I thought all cat 1 alarms are all black wiring ????

The joys of dealing with someone else's wiring

they should be all black these days but that probably very old or a cut out alarm that been refitted by a tit & not cat1 approved installer.
all joins need be soldered & sleeved plus neat secure routing & proper fused block installed etc .

Yep, mine was the same, just before I bought the car it had just had the alarm checked and certified, but it looked like someone had fitted it into the dashboard using a grenade!

You wanna see the state of the wiring in my engine loom !!!! Fucking atrocious, how bob ever had the patience to sort out my wiring problem is beyond me but very grateful he did !!!
