My oil light flickered on and off just. I wasnt pushing it.
Car was upto temperature and oil pressure is fine.
The light only came on faint twice.
I was going around an island at the time.
I checked the oil level yesterday and thats fine.
Could it be a loose wire maybe?
Which one is the oil light sensor?

The one sensor runs the pressure gauge and dash light. Id start by undoing the plug at the sensor and giving it a clean.

right next to the oil filter ...
I changed mine as gauge accuracy was suspect. fitted new centre guages & made a y style adaptor to fit standard pressure switch fitting & had new gauge sensor in one outlet & in other used a 0.7-0.8bar mitsubishi oil pressure switch wired in for the dash oil light.

Just got myself under the car to check this out.
The sensor wire was dangling down and resting on the driveshaft.
One of the wires has a cut in it so im guessing it was earthing out on the driveshaft?
I have cable tied it up out the way anyways so i will see the next time i go out.
I took the plug off and gave it a spray with the electrical cleaner while i was there.
