Hi guys, my car broke down last night, on a 10 mile journey the car started hesitating under boost and the turbo timer would intermittently trigger although not necessarily at the same time and I didn't seem to lose ignition feed.
I got about a mile from home and lost all ignition, I checked the fuses and found the 30 amp green ignition fuse had blown, I swapped it out for the electric Windows fuse and managed to drive it home and it seemed ok, could this be an earthing problem?
I am going to check the earth points some time this morning hopefully, has anybody had any experience with this problem and could advise me on possible faults or things to check?
Thanks guys sorry to be a pain seems to be one thing after another recently

Check the small wire on the battery. Its on the + side and plugs into the red plug.
The wire is blue if I remember correctly. This tends to snap. And when mine snapped a few years back my fuse also blew. The wire is only about 5 inches long.
Other than that. Check the wires around the turbo timer and ignition. It could be a bare wire earthing thats shorted the fuse.

Spot on mate cheers, seems someone had done a dodgy repair on the wire to the battery with a connector block, peeled back the insulation tape and it all just fell apart,
Thanks again Very Happy.

The fusible link is on the alternator circuit, it protects the wiring if the alternator shorts out to ground.

Not me mind but I phones are terrible as you slide page down or up for giving positive or negative rep points.

I see no reason for anyone to disagree with the fact it's a fuseable link so for info above here is a positive rep  to replace your negative rep point

Seems I may have inadvertently given you a negative feed back ducie my apologies, I'm not very good with touch screens, I will give you a positive rep point for your other post, it was not my intention to give you negative feed back sorry again.
