New genuine alternators

Ok after the shit I had with the one off eBay I went to a local place that re-wind them but they have loads of new stock in and boy did this old guy know his shit. I told him what car and he said you need a Blair Blair blare went off and came back saying your in luck I have a new genuine item in, it's £95 plus vat but I'll do it you for £85 all in. So I had it and true to form it's an exact match. Anyway he said if I know anyone else that wants one he has 2 left and will do them for the same price

The one from starter&Alternator Company is genuine new nissan & 12month warranty & price inc P&P, no need return current unit. Could check your local Alternator specialists as the R alternator is a common one ...

I could get you one and post it mate, postage is £8 I believe as just sent that wrong one back so would be £93 delivered with 12 months guarantee, he's only 5 mins from me so not really any trouble

Think my alternator is on its way. It's only charging at about 13.3 volts. Shouldn't it be closer to 14.4

raise the revs to between 1500<>2000 & see what voltage you get (ideally 13.7 to 14.3 range, temperature & battery charge state can alter this quite a bit)

Right I fetched his last 2 genuine alternators and I know it's £7:99 through courier collected and delivered but it means my dad has the job of waiting in for courier so I thought I'll see how much if I take it to post office. £17:65 each Ffs no wonder they can't make any money. Anyway items sent lads you should get them Wednesday as there being collected tomorrow

Thanks for the reps lads.pleased to help and its good useing a local bloke. He must be 60 ,a really unassuming old man in dirty overalls then proceded to show me his aston martin vantage.god i was in love its my favorite car,anyway he opened it up lifted bonnet and let me get in and fire her up so was worth going lol.turned out he has 10 cars right back from 1930s .this bloke looks like a old tramp yet he owned the company,employes 17 people was well clued up and has a couple of rolls royces aswell.goes to show never judge a book by the cover
