I had to change a rear diff seal last night, all went pretty well for once! Is there a specific torque setting the 5 bolts have to be done up to which hold on the plate which holds the rubber seal?

Thanks,

Do you mean the end plate with the drain plug in it ???

I should have described them better! I mean the plates which have the two driftshaft seals in. They pop off and have a metal shim and a rubber seal behind them

I have no torque value for these & just nip them up sensibly tight.
