Meant to do this ages ago but forgot all about it

about a year back I bought a Clarke electric impact wrench from machine mart, was only about £55 in one of there vat free offers so thought the worse tbh

but have to say a year down the line the thing has been a godsend undoing bolts that my bluepoint airgun will not touch, infact its not failed in undoing anything with the exception of one of the bolts that go through the rear hub (the big bastad bolt) and even me jumping on a breaker bar with heat on it never budged the bolt so no loss there.

the only downside to them is they can eat the electrical brushes if used constantly and there not cheap to buy (but ive found a source where you can buy brushes dirt cheap, just ordered 20 in and cost me a fiver delivered lol

so if any of you want a bloody handy bit of kit that doesn't break the bank then I would highly recommend one of these bad boys, it also comes with impact sockets and I think 4 spare brushes in a case so cant go wrong for that sort of money, the thing has never let me down
the model number is Clarke cew1000 thumbsup available from machine mart on vat free days for best deal or amazon and places

To be fair eBay £62.95 posted to your door is pretty good price.
Machine mart is close to £65 normally.
Does look a great option for those without air compressors.
Much prefer the control & reduced bulk of decent air gun but these are very very good & seem be highly rated.

Edit:
£68.39 at machine mart, you guys get screwed on tax :-O

That's awesome I didn't know you could get electrical ones. I'm losing my hearing from running my big air compressor in my little garage everytime I need to use my impact wrench Laughing

Could be worth having a tool tip forum section.
we could have links for recommended buys & tips tricks on tool use.
not been done before so would be useful bonus for gtir-mc !
