Hello you guys,

Seeing over the internet this clip.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ikzm_4Adz3U
...I thought to start a project and make a similar flatbed car trailer / regular trailer.

I have started with the design of such.

But.......I will be more than interested how many will be interested in a trailer like this.

Therefore please share your opinions and also spread the word in the UK.

Thanks for the support.

The guys from airbagged trailers are selling those for 12.000 USD + tax.

I will be doing it at half the price of that.

But...it will have my own design, will be made according to EU standards and will have some more nice features!

As I previously said....the trailer will have full EU certification and you will be able to registrate it like any other trailer.
Here are some 3d views of the chasis.

Hmmmm... I really don't want to throw some prices now as I really don't know the end cost as we speak.

But...I think it will be somewhere in 5K range!

Could be good, is a clever idea.
I bought an old trailer many years ago, it quite low but dicking around with ramps etc is a pain plus ride quality is far from good .
Does it need both axles to drop, would it not be enough for one axle be pivoted to drop if design elements keep it sleek so approach angle good.

Wouldnt the angle still be steep though if only one axle remained at standard hieght ...i guess it could be bagged from underneath that way you could reduce the hieght and drop the other one to the floor as orignal ...

I don't think angle wood be that steep as axle set quite way back on trailer chassis. Plus as you say you could help that by airbag height control.
If the folding axle system is not too expensive then not really needed but if expensive it could be option for ramp-less low loading trailer at better marketable price .

Yeah i totally agree with what your saying ....i would think you shift alot more at a lower price i was talking to my boss about the airbag trailors wich he said was a great idea ... although he did say you can pick up decent trailors with low loading ramps for 3k ....

If you will use only one liftable axle then nothing will be solved.
If you have a really low car...or a damaged car that the angle in which the trailer will tilt will be too steep.......therefore we will use 2 airbagged axles!
