nissan pulsar wanted

Hi I am new to this forum and I am looking to buy a clean tuned Nissan pulsar if anyone has one for sale please let me know cheers

I have one shortly for sale but its only around 300bhp certainly not mint condition
does have a few mods though will be going up for £2600 or £2995 with the nd intercooler

youll be lucky to find a genuine unmarked car nowdays

I had a look in the for sale section your the guy who had the black one for sale of its anything like that I would take it you have any pics?

its not as good as the other black one if im honest but its not a bad car at all for what im asking
il pm you photos a bit later after ive washed it as its covered in dust at the mo

Oh no competition to buy the car lol do you have any more gor sale or get hold of a tuned one?

the only other I have is a uk sunny gtir and a pulsar which is totally standard but both of those will fetch good money once they are ready, neither will be tuned

sometimes your best off buying a mildly tuned car then doing bits yourself then at least you know its done properly and know exactly whats been done

I didn't think they would be this rare to buy

there not rare to buy although far fewer for sale now but theres a lot of real dogs out there that have been lashed up no end and you really don't wanna be buying one of those

How do these handle compared to evos ect?

well assuming there both standard cars the evo is a lot more composed with all the gizmos on it.
ive had evo and found them boring tbh, the pulsar is a lot more raw and requires much more driver input
speed wise between 2 stock cars theres not a lot in it
handling wise the evo is better setup but with a half descent driver the pulsar should whoop it on the twistys

then you go to modded cars where it depends whats been done to them as to how fast they are and how they handle as both can be immensely quick but that goes for any car really

Ive been told the gear boxes are weak in pulsars compared to evos and they are very expensive to fix also

Well in many ways the pulsar is one of the cheapest to fix.
gearboxes are not the strongest but in good condition they can handle quite a bit of power. My evo has been far more expensive than the Pulsar plus evo gearbox ain't that strong as I found out .
Would also agree on Pulsar being the more fun car to drive & can handle quite well with sensible suspension & tyres.
Main love or loathe of a GTiR will be down to if you buy a good one & tune it sensibly, by a bad one or tune it badly & cash & enthusiasm soon burn out.
It is indeed very hard finding good honest cars these days.

Does this car have electric windows and central locking? Also what bhp is it running at the moment

All pulsars have electric windows other than rb models and this one for sale is an ra model

think the bhp is in the link mate its around 290bhp i think? an as for the locking i think it does have it as i was at the yard the day it turned uo but dont hold me to it)

Where are you based mate? Also silly question but what kind of hp can be reliably run through a standard gearbox and engine before you get problems I have had a look for traders who sell brand new parts but cant find any I.e front mount intercooler people who build engines ect

were in southend, essex fella

some people have run over 400bhp and had no troubles yet others have had probs with anything over 300bhp
its a lottery tbh don't forget these cars are knocking on for 25 years old there not a mainstream car like a focus rs ect where you know exactly what certain components can handle, if its all rebuilt and all parts are new then you have a rough idea but other than that its all guess work

Wow your a fair few miles away what are the mods needed to push a standard pulsar to 350bhp are there traders who sell brand new parts like front mount intercoolers

Yeah there's eBay or you can pay over a grand for a forge, nd, pace fmic kit
Or just use good sh parts much cheaper that way
320 Bho is plenty fast enough in these cars after that it starts to get rather expensive with regard to mapping, turbo, clutches, larger injectors and afm plus after market management to run it all, plus the more power you run the more chance there is of breaking stuff like engine and box

Is there anyone who does a proper turini wide arch kit for pulsars anymore? And are you open over the weekend if I can get down to have a look

Kream developments do them plus there's a few moulds floating around, Steve ferguson in Newcastle has moulds for them as he took them from a car we had in once
