Making garage space

Been shifting stuff around and taking out some base units in the garage so I can fit another bike in. Had my eye on a Ducati 916 for a while now so no excuse now I have the room, best start saving

Nice looking bike .... only thing i really hate about it is the 3 spoke rear wheel   

I've always loved the look of them and a future classic I'm sure. Only down side is reliability but that's never stopped me before. You need to be in the AA with a 916 but luckily you do with a pulsar so bonus lol

my brother had one and so did a mate.the friend got rid as he got a gsxr 750 my brother mainly as he liked to change bikes and cars often

I wondered why the pulsar had been demoted to the drive I've noticed it sat outside when I have drove past a few times lol

I don't have any nice bits Leighton all standard, however if your after standard hard to get bits then my car would be the one to nick lol. It's only out Bill cos I've been doing the bikes and noggin minor, but cleaned it today then back she goes. Had a look and I've only done 455 miles this year..

I've never had a 916 but had a 748 but tbh I didn't like it
Too short, too heavy and used to eat chains and sprockets

I just prefer the screaming 4 cylinder jap crap bikes

But as you say could well be an investment if you pick up a nice one

Oh too have room in my garage! Mines full of bloody wheels!  

Ebay is your best friend clare ... or wiegh them in lol

I wouldn't mind using them in the garden to make a feature tyre wall   

Il quite happily send you some tyres as have about 15 .... could come in handy after a few drinks stumbling out in the garden
