I am torn between selling and breaking my pulsar.

Financially i think it would be easier and better to break it.
Selling for good money could take ages
But what could i expect  for it in bits as Bob reckons id only get 4k selling the car complete

What is a forged engine worth?
Rebuilt box?

I think if i was to break they would be the bits to sell first

Bob is your man to ask as he deals in the parts daily so will have a better idea than anyone else on here Wink

I think pulsar are worth more in bits than a whole car as pulsar car parts are high at the moment going by what some stuff sell for on eBay
The only thing is it might take you a month, 6 months a year or longer to make your money and sell the parts but it will be worth it at the end
It will just take time to sell the bits

not too bad if you use a courier for parts
only problem i see with breaking it is there are lot of cars that are being broke at the moment 4 or 5 forged engines ect that are for sale and none are selling
you may be better selling as a running car

It's all good to strip the car to bits but the problem you have is selling the parts like said above it could take months to sell everything an the other problem is that you will only get dribs and drabs of money coming in from the parts ok you might get 2k for the engine but then you could be sat on parts for months till they sell by that time you could of spent the 2k and £25 for a splitter doesn't seem worth selling then?

Keep the car as a runner Wink

as above really
ive got a big advantage over you guys due to gtir us website so the forums is a miniscule part of sales as most stuff goes out via people contacting me through website, ebays a complete waste of time and full of scammers

as said youll have loads of stuff that wont sell, certain bits like turbo, z32, and a few other modded parts will sail away but that's just a fraction of the stuff you will be left with that in the finish youll be sick of the sight of and end up giving away just to get it out of your face.

not trying to put you off of breaking it just being straight with you.
I think youll struggle to make 4k in bits
1800 engine
650 turbo
350 exhaust
350 gearbox
leaving just over 1k in other bits to break even at 4k (do the sums rob) and that's with all the above selling
so if I were you I would try advertising it at say 4k and see what response you get, only takes one genuine buyer but to find that one buyer is not so easy
just my honest opinion anyway
