Looking for some advice on painting the rocker cover on the almera, What paint do some of your use, ive got some caliper paint left over (heat resistant to 600 degrees) will that work, if not what paint will work, and do I need to laquer on the rocker aswell? any suggestions cheers Tom

Ive used cellulose on the rocker cover without no problems it gets hot on there but not that hot enough to peel off  ... you could use the caliper paint  isnt that more like an enamel type paint

don't laquer it as the laquer will blister with heat.
just mop it and polish it up

i used normal paint and you can cover with a heat proof laquer, or you can go for vht crinkle which is a pretty nice effect

crinkle paint is a cock for holding dirt & oil, done a few with 2pac & it always lasted well & looked real good if done from a complete strip, masked & detailed nicely.
Polishing or acid etched is other options.

calliper paint will work & doubt you will be first to of used it on a rocker cover, makes sense to use it if you got enough already on the shelf.

thats a pint have i got enough  Shocked might just paint the nissan and 16 valve letters for now haha
