Hi

Ive been having a few problems at the moment one is that once car is warm and im driving it soon as i stop / put it in neutral the idle is rather high? ( i have checked for vaccum leaks doesnt seem to have any)

second one is when i start in the mornings the oil pressure builds up then hits between 60/120 then every now and then drops to 60 with a noise and once warm it all stops (and it doesnt sound like a machine gun going off between 1500rpm and 3000 rpm) so im hoping its not bottem end related.....

any help much appriciated

sam

Have you checked the sump  make sure its as it should be ..... maybe you have abit of crap in the bottom and sucks up the pick up strainer wich gives you the drop in pressure .... im only guessing though ...... also have you checked the butterflys make sure they are fully shut on idle ?
