Money go's nowhere these days...

Just bought 5 litres of engine oil & 5 litres of gear oil & a clutch release bearing, ready to sort the R out... Anyway just shy of £200 its come to for just this...



I know its expensive stuff we all use in our pulsars but is it me or when you look at what £200 has bought you, makes you feel abit sick   

plus some companies dont even supply 5 litres anymore if you look on the side of the bottle its usually 4 litres but the same price.

ive just spent over £400 on 2 oil pumps for builds were doing, that does not include parcelforces interception fees from usps or import duty either which no doubt I will get lumbered for.

still cheaper than main dealer prices but yes nothings cheap cheap any more, always stuff to pay out for where doesn't seem like you've got much for your hard earned   

Yep exactly. you would think you would get some sort of discount when bulk buying or buying 2 of the same thing if over £100... But this day & age your bloody lucky if you get a few quid knocked off

I just bought injectors seals and insulators from Nissan....
4 x bottom seals
4 x middle seals
4 x top insulators
= 45 euros....(37 pounds)

   

dont get me started on petrol prices haha

Yes mate Its fook all tho, prob saved £4

I was in talks with them a little while back with regards in giving us club discounts but they wouldnt budge on 10%  ....so didnt see the point as anyone can get 10% from them ...tight gits

Yeh no good for business when there the main people in the uk for oils

I try and wait untill they have a deal but best i got was free valet kit free delivery and 20% off. As you say its all the small but esential items that add up oils fuel clips seals belts fluids sensors gaskets. I worked out the other day for a turbo off and on for gaskets nuts etc was shocked
