license plate

Is it legal to have a vinyl license plate on the bonnet? just asking cos the original plate ive got wont really fit anywhere on the bumper, so was looking at a vinyl uk spec number plate? any ideas anyone/anyone using one

NO. it is not legal, read the guidelines on plates & you will see.
Whether you get stopped for it or your MOT pick up on it is a bit of a lottery.
Have illegal plates on my Mitsi V & never had issue. Does give them an excuse to book you though & fines these days are not so cheap :-/
