So I was going down the road the other day, not giving it loads and I heard a slight bang and what I thought was me running over something.
Turns out something has fallen off. I think.
Haven't had chance to chuck it on the ramp yet.
The symptoms are like a clutch slipping but I'm sure it's not.
It's like one wheel isn't getting any power. I think it's one of the rear wheels as when I give it a boot full it seems so go slightly sideways.
To me it feels like a a cv has dropped out or something.
Had a quick look under and nothing seems to be hanging off.

Any thoughts as to what it could be?
Many thanks in advance.

Everything is common for going lol ...its normaly just a process of elimination to be honest you got to remember these cars are quite old now ...if you feel its from the back end then i would start there ...

if its kicking rear end out it could be the diff has failed
you really need to carry out a few tests and have a good look underneath it on a lift as could be a few probs
