What Organic Clutch Is Best?

Hello All  
 
I am going to be changing the clutch very soon as my gearbox is being re-built, I am unsure what make to fit. I am running around just over 300 BHP. I want it to stand up to Santa Pod when I do quarter mile racing and when I go out looking for prey  
 
Any advice will be much appreciated as Rich doesn't want to be doing this again too soon

Lol poor rich did you look at the act cluches kerime ?

Not as yet Lieghton, been concentrating on the uprated clutch fork lol

helix or ap or as said above the act clutches are good also as weve fitted 3 now with no problems

Helix HD was good as got one myself, would also review CC clutches that fusion are doing as the organic staged kits have good power handling & can handle some abuse easily ...

Any recommendations?
Should i consider changing some other parts when i change the clutch?

braided clutch line is a decent buy too gives much nicer feel to the pedal

What about the flywheel?

I have no pm   

You can get aftermarket flywheels ... depends on what you plan for the r .... i would get the flywheel skimmed .

So when doing this its recommended to: change the clutch, thrust bearing, pressureplate, uprated clutch fork, braided clutch line, and pedal support bracket ( if i can get hold of one ). Im not going to have 400hp in my R, so maybe the lightweight/skimmed flywheel is not really needed?

flywheel is a great mod in my opinion even for a near standard car (never tried one in a pulsar though), just helps it rev more freely, braided clutch line was just a suggestion i picked mine up for £10, i also didnt do the clutch fork as i couldnt get hold of one

Skimming the flywheel is just making sure the pressure plate seats nicely as it can warp and glaze . If you have a welder to hand uprating the clutch fork is not a hard job to do .

I would uprate the clutch fork as seen many fail. Flywheel depends what you want yes light will rev more free but when you back off dose not keep engine momentum going so its like everything thers give and take. Skim and balance. I have never skimmed mine but both were in good condition and had not had harsh clutches on them

Ive never heard of them to be honest so i couldnt comment ....not badly priced though .... what power are you running in pulsar ?

Ive got a Sunny GTIR    currently i got about 290hp.

Also take into account not sure what its like where you are but import duty .
