Anyone recommend these?

Have a couple of thou to spend on upgrading the beast and deciding to start on brakes given recent events and the state of the current discs.

I would not touch drilled discs as they are notorious for cracking, groove and dotted are fine.

for an extra £150 you would be able to get yourself a 4 pot brake kit which will improve braking considerably over stock brakes

Are these roughly what ur talking about?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Sunny-GTiR-Pulsar-Wilwood-Brake-Kit-4-Pot-280mm-/120746748931

Assume the extra size from 265mm to 280mm will still fit?

yes wilwoods are 4 pot calipers (about the cheapest on the market) but with those you still need to buy the pads and the lines for them as they have different fittings to other calipers so will still cost you around £850 for the set

the hispec kit I have il do for £450 and better quality than wildwood

you don't want a 4 pot kit on the rear..........only fronts need doing

yep toaster, maybe a one shot experience for a pulsar...KAD is well known on the mini scene but i was not aware of other cars in their catalogue....

Bob, if you do have some ap racing calipers, i would be interested in.

Hoses arrived. Car back to me tonight apparently, then back to them for the brakes lol

I think the gearbox will be next to get sorted, just concerned with that noise from the shaft bearing

I take it there wouldnt be any issue with the size conflicting with the current 16" alloys, ie offset or anything like that? Also is this front and rear or just front?

Also tbh I think a gold caliper with green alloy on a black car may be a bit much lol

Assuming nothing to deal with from above question I will give you a call tomorrow to set up payt etc

ah yes I forgot you had 16s, they should fit but im not sure if im honest with you

and no as I said above you only need front big brakes, if you go bigger on the rers you will have problems plus they don't do a 4 pot kit for the rears hich has the handbrake snail cam on it so you would need to run a hydraulic fly off handbrake.......uprated pads on rear is all you need
